Data Deletion and Account Removal

Last updated: 20 September 2026

You can delete your Arkup account and the information stored with it, disconnect any service you have connected, and remove data Arkup imported from those services. This page explains each option and how long it takes.

Deletion requests can also be sent to moroni@arkup.ai from the email address on your Arkup account.

1. Delete your account from inside Arkup

Arkup includes a self-service deletion control. To use it:

  1. Sign in to Arkup.
  2. Open Billing & Usage in your account settings.
  3. Select Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is scheduled with a 10-day grace period, so an accidental request can be reversed. During that period your account becomes read-only and you can cancel the request from the same place. When the period ends, your account, profile, uploaded files, chats and imported integration data are erased.

If you own a workspace that other people use, Arkup warns you before scheduling deletion, because removing the owner affects the whole workspace.

2. Disconnect a connected service or remove its imported data

  1. Sign in to Arkup and open Integrations.
  2. Select the connected account (for example Google Drive or Microsoft Outlook).
  3. Choose Disconnect to stop future synchronization while keeping what was already imported, or
  4. Choose Remove imported data to delete the items Arkup imported from that account.

Disconnecting removes Arkup's stored authorization for that account. Removing imported data deletes those records from your workspace, and they are no longer available to Arkup's AI features.

3. Google accounts

You can also revoke Arkup's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Revoking access there stops any future access through that authorization, but it does not by itself delete data Arkup already imported. To remove that data, use Remove imported data in Arkup, delete the individual documents, delete your account, or send a request to moroni@arkup.ai.

4. Requesting deletion by email

Send your request to moroni@arkup.ai from the email address associated with your Arkup account, and tell us what you would like deleted (the whole account, a workspace, or data from a specific connected service).

We may need to verify your identity, or confirm with your workspace owner where company-owned information is involved, before processing a request.

5. What may be retained

Some information may be kept for a limited time where necessary for:

  • security and abuse prevention
  • fraud prevention
  • legal and regulatory compliance
  • billing and tax records
  • resolving disputes
  • encrypted backups, until they age out of the backup cycle

Once deletion is complete, the deleted information is no longer used for normal Arkup product functionality, subject to the retention reasons above.
